A whirl pool |
March 11, 2011 Mother Nature unleashed her fury once again casting a ferocious 8.9 magnitude earth quake that hit Sendai and later followed by a gigantic tsunami that crashed and eradicate everything her outstretch arms lays on. Huge fires gulp down two nuclear plants causing more mayhem and damages. Hundreds have lost their lives and the death toll and number of missing person still continue to climb. These is another tragic scenario that will leave a painful mark in the world history.
Based on Japan's profile the nation lies on the so called "Ring of Fire" an arc of earthquake and volcanic zones circling the pacific where mostly 90 percent of the worlds quake takes place. And looking back on Japan's previous quake history - the first one happened in 1923 in Kanto City that killed thousands of people it's magnitude arises at 8.3 followed by a 7.2 magnitude that killed 6,400 people in 1996 in Kobe City Japan.
But the worst part is how to muddle through with the repercussion of this mishap. Bereaved families who have lost their love ones and for those people with missing families member may not loose hope and may God's love comfort their grieving hearts and all wounds will heal. And for the world - let's not stop to kindle the candle of hope and faith and let us not find reasons to stop believing in God. Let always remember that he is the our only strength and refuge.
Everything happens for a reasons and those reasons may sometimes be too hard to understand or to painful to accept but at times it is Gods way of reaching to us. His way in order for us to remember him. We should never find time to forget him. Put God's first in everything we do.
" God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." Psalm 46 :1-2
The world may end but God has promised to be there for us for eternity.
